Warren is the author of five books: Leadership for Smart People, published by The Leadership Group Press in 2007, The Leadership Event: The Moments of True Leadership that Move Organizations (Aaron Brown – coauthor), published by The Leadership Group Press in 2004, The 108 Skills of Natural Born Leaders, published by AMACOM in 2001, The Nine Natural Laws of Leadership, published by AMACOM in 1995 and a second edition published in 2008 by The Leadership Group Press, and Leadership Skills for Managers, published by the American Management Institute in 1995.
He has also published numerous articles in professional journals such as The Journal of Applied Psychology, Group and Organizational Studies, Personnel Psychology, and The Organizational Behavior Teaching Review.
Warren has a Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Cincinnati, an M.S. in Education from Indiana University and a B.A. from the University of Akron.
