He has served and chaired on numerous councils, committees and programs. He is currently area chair for undergraduate business. He also is an evaluator for newly hired instructors.

One of R.J.’s passions is golf. He is a certified golf instructor. He has been an adjunct instructor at the Golf Academy of America-Arizona Campus for the last 12 years. He also teaches the academy students attitude and motivation, verbal communications, marketing, career development and entrepreneurship.
