He has lived in Japan and England for a year each and traveled to present seminars to 15 other countries. He has been a member of Mensa. As Vice President of American Society of Training and Development (Silicon Valley chapter) he took the Technical Trainers Special Interest Group from conception to 300 members.
Hugh was a manager of Amdahl Corporation, a multi-billion dollar, multi-national company for 18 years and has run his own consulting business of developing and presenting speeches and training for the past 16 years.
He was a member of Toastmasters International and has earned their highest recognition, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) twice. He earned the awards of Area Governor of the Year (District 4, 1981-1982), Division Governor of the Year (District 4, 1982-1983) and District 4 Toastmaster of the Year (1988).
Hugh is a four year veteran of the USAF serving during the Viet Nam conflict, is a Certified Life Success Consultant, a husband, father of two children and grandfather of 5.
